How does hydroponic systems work?

In a hydroponic system, plants grow without soil, using a nutrient-rich water solution. The roots are directly exposed to this solution, providing essential nutrients to the plants. Hydroponics is more efficient than soil-based growth as plants receive nutrients more directly, enabling faster growth and higher yields due to immediate access to nourishment without the need to search through soil. Additionally, when coupled with grow lights, hydroponics enables year-round cultivation.

Are nutrients included?

Yes, we want you to get started as quickly and easily as possible. That's why a general nutrient solution is included, containing the macro and micronutrients that the plants need. It's suitable for both vegetables, fruits, and flowers.

Are seeds included?

No, you get to choose freely what you want to grow. Essentially, you can grow almost anything hydroponically, but certain varieties are more suitable. You can read more here to get inspiration for what you can grow.

When you buy seeds, it often indicates how long it takes for them to germinate. It's also good to consider how tall the plant will grow, as low-growing plants can thrive without additional support.

Can the grow sponge be reused?

Yes, you can reuse the grow sponge. However, look out for fungi or old plant material, and you need to clean the sponges after every harvest. Depending on how you use the grow sponges it can be reused at least 6 months.

Why is there a water pump?

The water pump is a vital part of a larger hydroponic system, it delivers and circulates the nutrient solution to the plants. Our models have automatic water pumps that turns on for 15min every hour 24/7.

How often should I change the water in the tank?

The spacious 3.6 liter water tank with a water level indicator makes it easy for you to see when it's time to refill water with a nutrient solution. It's common to refill every 7-15 days, depending on the plant's growing stage. You can follow a “top-up and adjust” approach. See more on our FAQ page.

Så roligt att se det börja växa i varje plugg på otroligt kort tid. Ser framemot att kunna så och skörda massa roligt och nyttigt året runt med den här. Testade lite blandat nu i början och är mest imponerad av att paprikan grodde så otroligt fort, har även tomat, persilja och smultron i mina pluggar. Smultronen är sist att gro men nu växer det lite i varje plugg.

Riktigt bra

Precis lagom komplext. Enkel att installera och förstå och ritkigt kul att följa.
Snyggast design på marknaden och går tyst. Bra funktion för att komma ihåg att byta vatten.

Vi har nu haft den igång i 15 dagar och börjar reda spana lite tomatplantor samt koriander.

Spännande…..

Nu har odlingen varit i gång i sex dagar…. Jag blandade grödor vilt så här första gången, sallad, pak choi, tomat, chili, mini paprika och små gurkor. Det har börjat hända saker i princip alla pluggar, så det ska bli spännande att följa utvecklingen. Superlätt att komma i gång 😊
